The lucky millionaire!

Isaiah is a 20 year old man, still living with his parents in hope to give them a better future. His family are what Isaiah called, 'not well off at all' with his family in serious debts with no one being employed. Isaiah decided to take a risk which he has said he shouldn't have done, he purchased a euro millions ticket. The money he used could have helped his family, but he took the risk, and it paid off, £184 million richer and saving his family from homelessness.

We spent a month on research to see what the general public thought was the most effective mental health website, here is what they thought!

How can you best mix both your social life, with working life?

How can you use sport to help your social and mental health?

Typical interview questions, and how you should go around answering them!

Alcohol Addictions

Former netball college star Nancy Little was set to one of the worlds greatest talent's at the sport. However, her teenage years really stopped her from achieving what she should have. She  was quoted to say ' I know I was good at netball, in fact I was very good, my friends got in my way of my dream. I was constantly out at parties for around 3 years up until I was 18. Hangovers and mainly alcohol are what I would say is now the main reason I'm unable to compete at the same high level.' She also said, ' If I was to see someone now in a similar position to me, at a similar age, I would say, do not take the same path in life which I did, at the time it seems like the right thing to do but i now know that in the future you will eventually pay the price to not being 100% dedicated to what your dream is.'

At the age of 16, Nancy had the opportunity to represent her country in a netball game, something which thousands across the globe dream about having the chance to do. She declined this opportunity though, by saying her mind was in a completely different place' and how she hadn't been focusing on what she should have been, ruining her chance of representing Great Britain at any competitive level. She also said  that by showcasing her story she can prevent any other up and coming people in general, to stay dedicated to their dreams, and don't allow your friends to get in the way of what you want to achieve.

About us

Soul talk is a newly created magazine where you can read about teenagers and young adults across the UK, and how their life has been impacted for the best, or for the worse. We call Soul Talk the magazine of the future, as our main objective is to help people succeed in later life by showcasing how people have been effected by certain incidents that have occurred in their life. Predominately either how someone can be so talented and be involved with things that can completely ruin their life, or how people who are seen to be not as successful or lucky in life, have helped others in order to become successful and will be remembered for it. Soul talk also promotes specific job offers that businesses have available. This is to help people who have just finished education to find a job easier, or to encourage those who are currently unemployed to find some working experience that will help them regardless of the path they want to take in life.
